A most wonderful concert.
INCREDIBLE PLAYING from Korobeinikov. I saw Richter perform in concert in London on several occasions and this pianist is in the same category of genii. His encores were staggering, from Beethoven bagatel to Sckriabin and Rachmaninov.I heard Richter perform the same Beethoven bagatel in London and both these two artists performed it better than I have ever heard before.Richter’s performance was heroic, hectic and crazy but sublime and Korobeinikov has the same magic but with bravura of a different kind. Wonderful.
